"Pop-Up Micro Theatre

Pop-Up Micro Theatre pops up in The Tank's new space at 316 West 36th Street on October 4th, 2017 from 7-11pm! Presenting several new works in development, Pop-Up Micro Theatre showcases artists and their multitude of talents by bringing together a diverse collection of performance and visual art from across the 5 boroughs. While the show is geared towards functioning as a workshop for artists to experiment with new material, it is also an effort to expand circles and create a sense of community building.
Pop-Up Micro Theatre's 2nd Edition features: music, comedy, magic, dance, storytelling, burlesque and short plays!
~The night is broken up into 4 acts approximately 45 minutes
~Separated by 10-15 minute intermissions
~Some performances will repeat, some will only show once.
you can come at anytime in the night & stay for as long as you feel

The community surrounding the Paper Kraine is vibrant, welcoming, and action-oriented. To honor that drive, this season, Paper Kraine is giving back. Each month, work will be curated along a different social focus corresponding with a donation of 1/3rd of ticket sales to an organization doing work in line with the theme. In March, Paper Kraine artists will tackle ecological justice, the intersection of human, animal, android, and a potential posthuman future.
This month’s Paper Kraine benefits the Natural Resource Defense Council. The NRDC is a New York City-based environmental justice and defense group. Their recent legal and social efforts include speaking out against unqualified EPA candidates, legal and civil advocacy for clean drinking water in Flint and other marginalized communities, and preventing invasion of sacred indigenous spaces including work to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline. I/Heimi Vilhelm will be performing as the "musical" guest at the third-ever Kielbasanova Night at the Footlight in Ridgewood! Heimi has never performed in the big city before, so this might get weird.
I will be returning to Wesleyan University to perform as Heimi Wilhelm at WestCo's annual Fall music festival, Duke Day.
